New referrals are being accepted, with those of the highest foot risk being seen first.

We provide specialist assessment, advice and treatment to help reduce foot and lower limb pain, and to maintain or improve the health of people’s feet.
Our podiatry service (previously known as chiropody) cares for people who have an injury or medical condition that puts them at risk of developing potentially serious foot problems, such as infections, ulcerations or amputations.
We work to help patients be as mobile as possible, with the minimum of pain and disability, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
Our podiatrists are based at GP surgeries, community clinics and hospitals across Dorset. In exceptional circumstances, we can also arrange to visit people who are unable to leave their home.
If you, or your loved one, have concerns about foot or lower limb problems, please discuss with your GP in the first instance. If your GP thinks more specialist treatment is required, he/she will refer you to our service.

It’s essential that we all take good care of our feet in later life. It lowers our risk of having a fall and reduces our risk of infection, as well as relieving pain. Prama has a specialist Nail Care team that will come to your home and cut and file your fingernails and or toenails.
Our nail cutting team can perform basic nail cutting, and advise a podiatrist visit if more complex issues are identified. We are recommended by GPs in the BCP and Dorset areas as the NHS no longer offer this service.
Our charges are as follows:
£19.00 for one service (nail or toes)
£33.00* for 2 services
*2 Services can be nails and toes for one person / toes or nails or for 2 people.
You will be charged £15.00 for a professional nailcare kit to be kept at your home.
Our team of podiatrists are all HCPC registered and degree qualified. We treat all problems of the feet from nail cutting, corns, callus, in growing toe nails, fungal nails and skin to Verucca.
We also assess mechanical foot problems which can lead to heel pain, knee pain, shin splints and muscle strains. We can address and resolve many of these problems with an assessment and use of an orthotic which we either manufacture or modify.
We also have an extensive range of foot accessories to help with recurrent problems, creams and treatments.
We work closely with local GP’s and can always refer onwards if further examinations such as X-ray or ultrasounds are required.
