First Point Dorset provides hjousing related support and guidance to people over 16 years of age facing eviction, rent arrears, court action and budgeting issues. We can help you with accessing an appealing benefit claims, budgeting or household debts, rent arrears and other housing -related issues, finding more suitable accomodation, acting as an advocate for you or linking in with your landlord, benefit agencies or your local council.
DCCF is a local charity for the community of Dorset people who are experiencing financial hardship because of cancer. We can offer non-refundable grants subject to a successful application awarded from the Trustees awards committee.

DEBT HELP:
CAP is a national debt counselling charity with a network of debt centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to people in debt through its top quality, in-depth service. LOVECHURCH has partnered with CAP to offer debt counselling in our community. The service we offer at the Bournemouth Debt Centre is completely free.
CAP MONEY COURSE:
The CAP Money Course is free and will help you manage your money better and learn how to budget, save and spend well. In just a few weeks, you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget, save and prevent debt.
CAP LIFE SKILLS:
Money impacts all areas of our lives: what we can or can’t afford, our relationships, what we eat, our health and wellbeing and much more. Your local CAP Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to have a brighter future.
