A friendly safe environment to meet new people.
Work on your own project or we will start you off.

Coda uses music as a tool for personal and social change. We love music and believe in its power to transform lives. Coda provides a place to learn, train and develop, and we offer help and support through participation and therapy.
We offer music tuition for all ages and abilities in piano, strings, woodwind, guitars, drums and vocals. Lessons can be one-to-one, in pairs or groups – depending on preference and budget. Classes are offered at a variety of times – just get in touch for current availability.
Coda is also a unique, award winning and innovative local resource which reaches the most vulnerable people in our community, those with profound disabilities, at the end of their life, plagued by ill health, the sick, the elderly, and those in need. We try to help everyone through music.
We love to play, to bring people together, engage and nurture enthusiasm and talent.
Art Dementia New Forest is a registered charity. Our aim is to eventually have art groups across the whole New Forest, to which any person with dementia could have access.

Forest Arts has been the creative heart of New Milton for nearly 50 years. Our programme of entertainment includes some of the most exciting touring musicians, stand-up comedy, fortnightly film screenings, talks and community events.
Our Green Room café/bar is also a gallery and our annual open exhibition is a place where artists we’ve nurtured in our classes and workshops can display their work too. Visit during the day and you’ll find our building full of people who are learning something new – whether that’s ballet, art or stone carving; the classes and workshops continue into the evening – ensuring that as many people as possible make the best use of our facilities.
Since March 2020, we have adapted and reinvented what we do and continued to run a varied programme online, outdoors and in the centre. Things have looked a bit different to usual but we’re prioritising making sure that our staff, volunteers and visitors feel safe and welcome. This will be continued to be our focus over the next few months as we return to more frequent events and activities. We’re a small and friendly team so please say hello when you’re next in the centre or get in touch using the contact details on this page, and let us know any feedback you have and thoughts and ideas for our future programme.

Inspiring, relaxing and creative art classes for adults and children by the sea in Highcliffe, Dorset and surrounding areas.
We champion community and volunteer-led creative activity, and work to improve opportunities for everyone to be creative. In particular, we celebrate and promote people expressing themselves creatively with others, recognising the benefits this can bring.
We know that creative expression in all its forms is a fundamental part of being human, but that individuals and communities need opportunities and support for creativity to flourish. We also know that people coming together to create, have fun, share experiences and support each other can have a positive impact on both their physical and emotional wellbeing.
To that end, Creative Lives works with communities, organisations, policy-makers, funders and creative individuals as a voice for positive change, to improve and expand the landscape in which creative participation can take place. We work to address inequalities in access to creative participation, promote inclusivity, connect people and communities, and seek to increase awareness of the links between creativity and wellbeing.
