To provide free and low-cost flooring to household on low income, giving them the warmth and comfort flooring provides.

We are a charity offering supported accommodation for a variety of needs. Our intensive support programme is tailored to each individual, empowering them to reach their full potential.

With 100 beds across Dorset, we work alongside over 25 local organisations to house as many vulnerable adults as we can, supporting them to rebuild their lives and move forward into their own accommodation and employment.

We’re a non-profit-making social housing provider with affordable homes in Poole, Wimborne, Bournemouth, Ringwood and beyond.

Our family homes (18 years old +) are managed on a day-to-day basis by a Housing Team and a Maintenance Team based out of our Registered Office in Poole.

Our rented accommodation for the elderly and extra care scheme (normally 60 years old +) is managed on a day-to-day basis by a Housing Team and a Maintenance Team who are based out of our Registered Office in Poole.

Applicants in need of housing who do not have the means to secure themselves suitable alternative accommodation (such as those on limited means) may be eligible for Housing Benefit/Universal Credit and are welcome in all our properties.

We are normally responsible for maintaining all external and communal decorations along with structural, communal and most internal repairs. Leaseholders and shared ownership occupiers should, however, refer to the details of their individual lease.

We’re on the streets, every day, meeting people sleeping rough. We’re running hostels and emergency accommodation, giving people the time and space they need to recover. And we’re here for the long haul, helping people to learn new skills, find jobs and reconnect.

Our services focus on the different stages of a person’s journey of homelessness or sleeping rough: before, during and after.

Our legal team can help you if you are eligible for Legal Aid, for example, if you need to go to court about a housing problem or to challenge a council’s homelessness decision. To speak to the legal team you will need to make an appointment. Please note that this number is for new legal appointments only.

The deafPLUS Adviceline is the first national award winning helpline in the UK that is accessible to Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users. Funded by the Big Lottery Community Fund, we use existing popular technologies; Skype, Zoom and FaceTime to deliver advice on a range of issues such as benefits, housing, employment and debt. This will help you, our clients, to:

• understand your rights and responsibilities
• participate in conversations about services you need to access
• make informed choices

We are a Dorset-based Christian charity that works alongside people through times of crisis building hope and resilience to deal with times ahead. We run practical projects around food, finance, recovery, homelessness and lone parenting in our local towns.

First Point Dorset provides hjousing related support and guidance to people over 16 years of age facing eviction, rent arrears, court action and budgeting issues. We can help you with accessing an appealing benefit claims, budgeting or household debts, rent arrears and other housing -related issues, finding more suitable accomodation, acting as an advocate for you or linking in with your landlord, benefit agencies or your local council.

We are a leading landlord in the South / South West, providing great service to our residents and customers. In Christchurch we own and manage just under 2500 homes and provide all landlord services from letting tenancies and leases, repairs and maintenance, rent and services, tenancy and estate management. But as well as quality housing services, our work doesn’t stop at the front door. We offer a range of services, investing in communities, to help people and their neighbourhoods be the best they can be.

Driven by our 75 years’ experience of providing care to older people Silverways Nursing Home provides your relatives the utmost care whilst staying with us, either permanently or on respite. As a charitable organisation we are not driven by profit which means we can employ a team of 94 who look after a maximum of 61 residents, this staff to resident ratio is above average therefore allowing the time to carry out duties with care and dedication. Many of our team members have been with us for over ten years, so you can be assured that your loved one will not have to have their care plan repeatedly explained to new team members on a regular basis. Staff also get to know the residents as they are assigned to the same area of the home on every shift, thus allowing them to form a trusting relationship.

Avondene is a small and friendly care home situated in Mudeford in Dorset. It is ran by Christchurch Housing Society, a charitable organisations and is within a short distance to Fishermans bank and the nature reserve at Stanpit Marsh. Mudeford Quay is also within walking distance. Other local amenities can also be found in the pretty town of Christchurch.

Support services are a vital asset to the ARC we are a one-stop-shop of face-face drop-ins from various services, equipping our local area with a vital network of people they can trust and look to for support.

We are joined every Thursday by: Citizens advice: 10.00am- 12.30pm  and Sovereign Housing Association: 9.30am- 12.30pm

Joining us fortnightly on Thursdays: Lets talk money: 9.30am-12.30pm and Neighbourhood Policing Team (subject to call out duties): 10.00am-12.00pm

Christchurch Housing Society works across Poole, Christchurch and Bournemouth. We own over 600 affordable flats for older people.

We also run Siverways Nursing Home, Avondene Care Home and two lunch clubs in our community halls.

Drop in centre providing food, clothes and support for street homeless and those who are vulnerable and struggling with debt and housing problems. Support with benefits and signposting to other agencies such as immigration, money advice and social activities.
