Our nurses deliver this support in clinics and community hospitals, as well as in nursing/care homes and patients’ own homes.
We also provide advice to other healthcare professionals about leg ulcer assessment and management.
If you, or your loved one, would like to access this service, please speak to your GP surgery or other healthcare professional.
The service is provided from Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm, and the Leg Ulcer Office can be contacted on 01202 443739 from 8.30am-3.30pm.
The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation (CRN 1111259) organisation is designed to meet the needs of people living in the community who suffer from problems relating to the lower limb by disseminating and facilitating the implementation of the psychosocial prescribing Leg Club Model for lower limb care.
The Foundation is an innovative charity created to reflect all aspects of leg-related problems and management of their care delivery through a collaborative approach between individuals, volunteers, and the community. As a third sector “not for profit” organisation, the Foundation’s role is to ensure that both the resourcefulness and the uniqueness of the charity remains person focused whilst working in collaboration with multidisciplinary and multiagency teams who contribute to the creation and implementation of health and social care
